The Deye Smart Wallbox (SUN-EVSE11K01-EU-AC) is an intelligent EV AC charging station delivering up to 11kW of three-phase power (or 3.7kW single-phase). It works in two modes: standalone via WiFi (no inverter needed) or integrated with a Deye hybrid inverter via LoRa for solar-powered charging. 11kW (16A, 400V) on three-phase connections. Single-phase configurations deliver up to 3.7kW at 16A. Three-phase charging fully charges a 60kWh EV battery in approximately 6 hours, while single-phase requires around 16 hours. Current is fully configurable between 6A–16A via the Deye Cloud App for flexible load management.
Two main charging modes with optional enhancements: (1) Plug and Play — instant charging at full power, (2) Time of Charge — schedule up to 4 time slots for off-peak charging. Optional add-ons: Solar Energy Only (charges only when battery SOC exceeds your threshold) and Off-grid Protection (auto-stops when inverter switches to off-grid). In standalone WiFi mode, use "Appointment For Charging" to set schedules without an inverter.
Multiple control methods: Deye Cloud App (iOS/Android) for remote scheduling and monitoring, Deye inverter LCD display, and physical function button on the charger for emergency stop and mode switching.
Comprehensive 7-layer electrical protection: Over Voltage, Under Voltage, Overload, Over Current, Low Temperature Cutoff, DC Leakage Detection (6mA RCD sensitivity), and Type II Surge Protection. The integrated DC residual current device provides additional safety beyond standard RCD protection.
Yes. The Smart Wallbox uses the IEC 62196 Type 2 (Mennekes) connector and is compatible with EVs equipped with a Type 2 charging port, including many Tesla, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Hyundai, Kia, Volvo and other models.
