The Deye Smart Plug (SUN-SMART-PLUG01P1-F) is a LoRa-connected smart plug designed to integrate ordinary home appliances into the Deye solar energy ecosystem. It handles up to 16A at 220-250V AC, communicates wirelessly up to 200 meters via LoRa (863-870MHz), and can be controlled manually or automatically via the Deye Cloud App and inverter. Designed for indoor use (IP20), it transforms compatible appliances into intelligent, solar-linked smart loads.
Key features include: 16A maximum current capacity with built-in overcurrent protection, LoRa 863–870MHz wireless communication up to 200m, 2 control modes (Manual and Time), SOC-linked automation via the Deye inverter, Deye Cloud App remote access, and ultra-compact plug-and-play design at just 0.08 kg. Works independently of internet — LoRa keeps automation running even during Wi-Fi outages.
The SUN-SMART-PLUG01P1-F operates at 220–250V AC, 50/60Hz, with a maximum rated current of 16A (max power ~3,500W). Wireless communication uses LoRa at 863–870MHz with up to 200m unobstructed range. Ingress protection is IP20 (indoor use only). Weight: 0.08 kg. Built-in overcurrent protection disconnects the load if current exceeds 16A for more than 20 seconds, and re-checks after 10 minutes.
The Smart Plug is compatible with any single-phase appliance up to 16A (approx. 3,500W) — including washing machines, dishwashers, water heaters, electric kettles, refrigerators, fans, and small EV chargers. It is ideal for any device you want to automate based on time, battery SOC, or solar generation. Note: it is designed for indoor use only (IP20) — for outdoor applications, use the SUN-SMART-SWITCH01P3.
Installation is plug-and-play with a compatible socket type for the supplied plug. Connect your appliance, then pair the Smart Plug through the Deye Cloud App by following the on-screen LoRa pairing wizard. Pairing typically takes under 2 minutes. A SUN-SMART-TX01 Transmitter (sold separately) is required for LoRa wireless integration with the inverter. Please check plug/socket compatibility before ordering.
The product documentation lists CE marking, Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU, EMC Directive 2014/30/EU, Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU, and applicable EN safety standards for the LoRa wireless module and smart plug design. Local installation and compliance requirements should be confirmed for your market before use.
Unlike standard Wi-Fi smart plugs that stop working during internet outages, the Deye Smart Plug uses LoRa technology for direct device-to-inverter communication — independent of your home network. LoRa also offers faster wake-up time, lower latency, and up to 200m range that penetrates walls and floors. Most importantly, it integrates natively with Deye inverters for SOC-based automation that no generic smart plug can offer.
The Deye Smart Plug includes a 2-year product warranty. Technical assistance is available via email and the Deye Cloud App. Taxes, delivery options, dispatch time, and return eligibility depend on the selected delivery region and are confirmed at checkout or by Deye Store support.
The Smart Plug supports two control modes. Manual Mode (default): turn the plug ON/OFF via the physical button, the Deye inverter LCD, the Cloud App, or the cloud platform web page. Time Mode: set a programmable schedule that automatically controls the ON/OFF state — in this mode, the physical button is disabled to prevent schedule override. Both modes can be configured and switched via the Deye Cloud App.
Yes — this is one of its key advantages. Thanks to LoRa communication, the Smart Plug maintains a direct wireless link to your Deye inverter independent of your home Wi-Fi or internet connection. If your router goes offline, all preset automation schedules and inverter-linked controls continue to operate exactly as programmed. Internet is only needed for initial setup and remote Cloud App access.
