A LoRa communication bridge that enables wireless connection between Deye inverters and LoRa-enabled devices. It plugs into your inverter’s communication port and creates a wireless network for smart energy management accessories.
The Smart Transmitter supports: Wireless CT (energy monitoring), Smart Switch (load control), Smart Plug (appliance automation), and Smart Wallbox (EV charging). All communicate wirelessly via LoRa protocol.
Up to 200 meters via LoRa at 863–870 MHz frequency band (EU specification). LoRa provides excellent wall penetration, making it reliable even in multi-story European buildings.
All Deye hybrid inverters except LP3 models (which require a firmware update for LoRa functionality). Compatible with both single-phase and three-phase Deye inverter systems.
Contact onlineshopservice@deye.com.cn to arrange a remote firmware upgrade for LP3 models. The upgrade enables LoRa communication capability on LP3 series inverters.
One transmitter per inverter system is typically sufficient for most residential installations. A single SUN-SMART-TX01 can manage multiple LoRa devices simultaneously within its 200m range.
Define critical and non-critical loads, then automate device control based on battery SOC (state of charge), time schedules, or solar availability. For example, automatically run your washing machine when solar production peaks.
Yes. When paired with the Deye Smart Wallbox, you can schedule EV charging to align with off-peak electricity tariffs or excess solar production, minimizing charging costs and maximizing self-consumption.
Indoor installation recommended. Mount the transmitter near the inverter in a dry, well-ventilated location. Since it connects directly to the inverter’s communication port, it should be installed in the same environment as your inverter.
